Villa Serena, a luxury Florida vacation villa, is one of four homes we have on Tuscan Ridge - an idyllic and quiet community in Davenport which is just a few miles south west of Disney World. Each and every home of these other homes is a beautiful and luxurious Florida vacation villa and this home is no exception.

Villa Serena is a 5 bedroom, 3 ½ bathroom two-storey villa with large private screened pool and spa within 12 minutes of Disney's welcome gates. The 'Village at Tuscan Ridge' is off US Highway 27, minutes from the 192, Interstate 4 (I-4), restaurants, shops and championship golf courses.

This luxury Florida vacation villa is the largest model of home in 'The Village' at Tuscan Ridge (and is one of three such homes we have there).  As with each of these three homes, the Villa Serena Florida vacation villa as you would expect, is air conditioned.   Not only is it air conditioned but it has two air conditioning systems, one for upstairs and one for downstairs, allowing you to set the temperature for each area independently i.e. it can be set for downstairs living conditions and upstairs for sleeping conditions. This spacious, bright and luxurious Florida vacation villa can accommodate up to 10 people plus baby/toddler.  With just over under 3200 square feet of living space including 2 master suites, a family room, reading room and games room, there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy there own space. 

The Interstate 4 (I-4) highway is less than 5 minutes drive away providing easy access to Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet and Wild and all the shopping on International Drive.  The I-4 runs from the Gulf coast to the Atlantic coast so not only are the beaches within easy reach (Daytona on the Atlantic coast and Clearwater and St Pete's beach on the Gulf coast) but so to are the other tourist spots such as Kennedy Space Center / Centre and the Salvador Dali Museum.  Publix, the supermarket chain, and Wal*Mart are both just under 5 minutes drive away so all your essentials are very close by.

The Facilities At Villa Serena

Villa Serena is set over two floors. On the tiled ground floor you will find the following:

Family Room - A large bright room with doors leading out to the pool area.  Enjoy either the cable TV or a DVD from the selection provided on our the 53 inch TV whilst relaxing on the beautiful leather suite that includes a reclining chair.  The ceiling fan above will help keep you cool!  Such a perfect room to relax in after a day in the parks, shopping or golfing. 

Kitchen - To the rear of the family room is the fully-equipped kitchen that has everything you could ever need and more. This includes a large fridge/freezer with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee percolator and toaster. The home is fully stocked with an ample supply of crockery and cutlery / silverware even some specifically for the children - for both inside and outside use.

Breakfast Nook - The breakfast nook area by the kitchen provides two breakfast bar stools and a table and chairs that overlooks the pool - ideal at breakfast time or for just grabbing a quick snack.  For the youngest of guests, a highchair is provided.

Dining Room - Coming out of the family room / kitchen / breakfast nook area - out through the arch - you will find the dining room.  There is a large table and chairs that seats 6 comfortably which is ideal for formal dining or entertaining.

Reading Room - Adjacent to the dining room is the reading room.  This large private area is wonderful to relax in so sit down in your own space and read a book or listen to some music on the hi-fi system.  There is a selection of CDs, books and board games in the home for your use.  It’s a great place to have some ‘you’ time away from the children.  The doors from this room also lead out to the covered lanai and pool area.

Utility Room - Additionally downstairs, off of the dining room, you will find a utility room that has a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Bathroom - Also off the dining room is a door that leads to the downstairs ½ bathroom (i.e. WC and sink).

Games Room - Off of the utility room is a fully equipped games room (what was formerly the garage).  With an 8ft slate bed super quality pool table, a 55 inch foosball table, an electronic basketball machine and an electronic dartboard, this room was designed with kids (and big kids) in mind so they shouldn't get bored on these occasional rainy Orlando days (and yes it does rain in Orlando sometimes!). it’s a great place to go to wile away a few hours, but be warned, it can become seriously addictive!

Master Bedroom - The spacious hall leads off to the first of our master bedrooms. This bedroom has a king bed, a 28 inch cable TV, DVD player, ceiling fan, a large walk in closet and a huge en suite bathroom with large shower, garden bath, a his and hers vanity, a hairdryer and of course a WC!  From the master bedroom too you will find doors that lead directly out to the covered lanai and pool.  There is also a crib available for infants. 

Master Bedroom 2 - From the spacious hall go upstairs and you will find the second of the master bedrooms. This master has a queen bed, ceiling fan, 27 inch cable TV and a DVD player. It also enjoys an en suite shower room - with hairdryer supplied.

Bedroom 3 - Also upstairs are the other bedrooms. Bedroom 3 has twin beds which are beautifully finished with adults in mind.  It also has cable TV.

Bedroom 4 - This bedroom is the 'Jungle Room' and has twin beds, cable TV and a Play Station 2 with games.

Bedroom 5 - The 'Mickey Mouse Room' with cable TV, toy chest, books and dressing up clothes.

Family Bathroom - Upstairs too you will find the family bathroom.  This bathroom has a bath with shower above.  For the ladies, including of course our younger ladies, a hairdryer is also provided.

All bedding is provided as are towels.  Not only are there plenty of towels for the bathrooms, but there are also large beach towels for use around the pool and spa.

Pool and Lanai Area - One of the most important areas of any villa is the pool!  All doors to the pool (from the master bedroom, reading and family rooms) have child safety alarms so youngsters cannot access this area without an audible alarm sounding.  The villa has an oversized pool to provide space to have 'fun'.  The Spa can refresh those aching limbs after walking around and around the theme parks.  For those of you that like your privacy you are not overlooked and there are no near rear neighbours.  There are plenty of comfy sun beds on the extended deck and there  is also an outdoor dining area with a ceiling fan and BBQ.  As with all our Florida vacation homes, pool heating is available at an extra charge.
